Be a foster parent

Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is searching for compassionate individuals to open their homes and foster small breed dogs. All medical expenses are covered; all that's needed is your love and a safe, warm place for a dog to rest. If you have a little extra room in your heart and your home, a rescued dog will be incredibly grateful. We, along with local humane societies, are often overflowing with adorable and sweet small breeds, such as Chihuahuas, terrier mixes, poodles, and Shih Tzus. Because many of our foster dogs are quite small and we may not have a full understanding of their temperaments upon arrival, we generally suggest foster homes without children under 10 years old. However, we are always open to making exceptions if you are interested in fostering and have children under 10.

Ideal Home

A warm, safe home with an open dog bed. While we generally recommend homes without children under 10, exceptions can be made.

All medical needs for foster dogs are covered by Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary.
