Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix weighing around 35 pounds. She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, bringing happiness wherever she goes with her adorable zoomies and affectionate cuddles. Daisy Sue was adopted from a shelter but was later returned, finding herself on a euthanasia list before being rescued. She's now ready for a second chance at a loving home.
Ideal Home
Daisy Sue would thrive in an active home that can provide daily walks, playtime, or a securely fenced yard for her to burn off energy. She also enjoys being a work-from-home companion, happily snoozing nearby. She strongly prefers a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respectfully interact with a shy dog would be a good fit. A calm home with a predictable routine is preferred over a busy household with lots of visitors, as she can be shy when meeting new people, especially men. While she's generally not destructive when left alone, it's best to pick up shoes as she finds them fascinating.
Ongoing Health
Daisy Sue is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Daisy Sue is fully house-trained with no accidents. She walks beautifully on leash and is not reactive to dogs, runners, or people. She is also crate-trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. While she can be shy with new people, especially men, she warms up with patience, gentle voices, and space.
