Onyx Baby is a charming 7-month-old pittie mix, weighing in at 33 lbs, who is guaranteed to steal your heart with his incredibly sweet personality and adorable puppy-dog face. His floppy ears and soulful eyes are simply captivating! He's a rescue, and while we can't guarantee his exact breed or age, his gentle nature shines through. Onyx Baby is a social butterfly, thriving in a multi-dog foster home where he's shown great success with dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. He's equally respectful of his feline housemate, Biggie, and we're happy to arrange a cat sleepover to ensure compatibility in your home. Onyx Baby has wonderful house manners, knows basic commands like "sit," and is eager to please, making any future training a joy. He's crate-trained and doing well with potty training, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for extended periods.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would love a home with a backyard for romping and playing, but he's also perfectly content being a couch potato for cozy movie marathons. We haven't seen him with children yet, but we're happy to facilitate a meet-and-greet to assess his compatibility.
Ongoing Health
Onyx Baby is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and is microchipped. He has also received flea prevention and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Onyx Baby is a smart boy who is eager to please and a quick learner. He already knows "sit" and is gentle when taking treats. His foster has been working on his potty training, and he's doing great, though occasional accidents can happen when left alone for long hours.

Transporation
Onyx Baby is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
