Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful dog who loves everyone she meets, whether they have two legs or four. Lex is a Pitbull Cattle Dog mix, weighing 56lbs of pure happiness. She has beautiful cattle spotting and super cute pointed ears, making her a truly pretty pup! Lex is the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. She plays hard with other dogs, but is considerate and good at reading vibes, especially enjoying play with confident female dogs. She'd likely do great in a home with males or females, though she seems to have a preference for the ladies!
Ideal Home
Lex is a high-energy girl who needs a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with the needs of cattle dogs. She would thrive with an owner who can keep up with her boundless energy and "wild child" spirit. While she hasn't been officially tested with children, we believe she'd love them, especially older kids who can handle her enthusiastic play style. Cats are not a good fit for Lex, as she can be too rough during play.
Ongoing Health
Lex is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, broad spectrum deworming, and is spayed. She is also microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Lex's leash skills need a little work as she can pull slightly when excited to meet new people. She's a smart dog who will train well with consistency.

We facilitate nationwide adoptions with USDA-certified transport, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
