Lori is a sweet girl with a heart full of love to give! She arrived at the shelter in November with her friend Carl and has quickly become a volunteer favorite thanks to her gentle nature. Lori enjoys playing with other dogs and is excellent at reading their play styles, making her a wonderful companion for canine friends. She loves splashing in the kiddie pool, is affectionate, gives the best kisses, and truly enjoys spending time with her human companions. She did fantastic with the children she met during a birthday party, gently accepting treats and soaking up the attention. Lori walks well on a leash, is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. She's also a good watchdog and will alert you when someone arrives at the house or enters the yard. While Lori can be a little shy when meeting new people, she becomes more comfortable and trusting with patience and encouragement. She has done well around cats, even enjoying walks with a friendly neighborhood cat. She will chase a barn cat that runs from her, but otherwise has shown appropriate behavior around feline friends. Lori is a happy, fun-loving girl who would thrive in a home that will give her the love and companionship she deserves. She has so much to offer and is ready to become someone's best friend.
