Meet Ghost! If you're looking for a tiny best friend with a huge heart, Ghost is the perfect match. At just over a year old and weighing only 12 pounds, this adorable Chihuahua mix is packed with personality, affection, and charm. Ghost is housetrained, knows how to use a dog door, and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He walks nicely on a leash for short strolls and is working on building his confidence for longer adventures. He's also wonderful when left home alone and will greet you with pure energy and joy when you return. This sweet little guy loves being close to his people. One of his cutest habits is standing on his hind legs and reaching up to be picked up like a toddler. He enjoys relaxing on the sofa, and prefers sleeping in bed, you'll barely know he's there. Ghost's favorite toy is an orange stuffed pumpkin, though he has also shown some interest in chasing a tennis ball. He knows Sit, Stay and Come and he will balance on his back legs for treat. He likes to eat grass and roll around on his back on grass or gravel. Ghost came to PACC with other dogs and has been calm and does not react around dogs while in the shopping cart, out and about at local stores. His experience with cats and children is unknown. Ghost's ideal adopter will understand that he can be shy with new people. He is not aggressive—he simply needs time and patience to feel safe. Once he gets to know someone, his sweet and loving personality shines through. Slow introductions and allowing Ghost to approach at his own pace will help him build trust and confidence. Ghost is currently scheduled to be neutered on July 17th and is ready to find a patient, loving home where he can continue to blossom. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness with endless affection, Ghost may be your perfect match.
