Gertie

Gertie is the sweetest little senior girl with a heart full of love to give! This 13-year-old, 30-35 lb bundle of joy is incredibly sweet and friendly. She dreams of spending her golden years with a loving family. Gertie was rescued from a shelter in Texas and has since found comfort in a wonderful foster home in Colorado. She's eager to find her forever family! Gertie is a true gem who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children. She enjoys lounging on a comfy bed, soaking up the sun, is a fantastic travel companion in the car, and offers the most comforting snuggles.

Ongoing Health

Gertie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is covered by the rescue and is not contagious. We will also be assessing if she is a candidate for spaying at her age with the veterinarian.
