Fiona - URGENT AND AT RISK

Fiona is a sweet 6-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who urgently needs a loving home. She's currently at the Kern County Animal Services shelter in Bakersfield, and due to an upper respiratory infection, she's at a higher risk and needs to recover in a safe environment as soon as possible. This adorable pup has been with us since May 23, 2026, and is ready to leave the stressful shelter environment behind.

Ideal Home

Fiona needs a quiet and comfortable home where she can rest and recuperate from her illness.

Ongoing Health

Fiona is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection. She will need continued care and monitoring to ensure a full recovery.

Training & Support

Fiona is not yet house-trained. Guidance and patience will be key to her success in learning new things.

Transporation

Fiona is located at the Kern County Animal Services shelter in Bakersfield, CA. Transportation can be arranged for adopters on the West Coast, but adopters will be responsible for any associated transport fees.
