Meet Madeline!
Madeline, affectionately known as Maddie, is a beautiful and resilient 9-month-old, 40 lb girl who is blossoming into the most wonderful companion. She was rescued from a local shelter with just minutes to spare, having been placed on the euthanasia list due to fear-based reactivity on leash. Thankfully, a loving foster family stepped in and saved her life. Now in a foster home, Maddie is thriving and enjoying every moment! She has the softest fur, is doing wonderfully with potty and kennel training, and absolutely adores attention. She walks well on leash and is a fantastic car rider, always ready for an adventure. Maddie has met dogs and cats with proper introductions and would love a friendly furry sibling in her forever home. While she's blossoming, Maddie's past as a stray may have included hardship. She warms up quickly to adults and older children, but very young children can frighten her, causing her to retreat. With patience, kindness, and positive experiences, she'll continue to build confidence, but her forever family must be committed to helping her overcome her fears. We anticipate she'll grow into a perfect medium-large sized dog. Maddie has so much love to give and we can't wait to find her the forever home she deserves, one that will continue her socialization, provide training and exercise, and help her become the amazing dog she's destined to be.
