Dixie

Meet Dixie, a gentle, goofy Lab/Husky mix with a huge heart and plenty of love to give. At three years old, she’s ready for a peaceful early retirement filled with walks, fetch, car rides, couch time, and sunset-watching with her favorite person.

Ideal Home

Dixie would love a person or couple seeking a loyal companion and best friend. She prefers a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle and would do best with older children or no children. She can live with other dogs or be your one-and-only, but she cannot live with cats because her enthusiastic attempts to chase and hug them are not appreciated.

Ongoing Health

Dixie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Dixie is fully house-trained and knows basic commands, including “sit” and “crate.” She enjoys doggy daycare and does well with people and dogs at the rescue. She loves walks, fetch, car rides, relaxing by the couch, and earning treats for her excellent manners.
