Rue

Rue is the most loving, loyal girl you will ever meet! She was found as a dumped stray in Indiana and is now searching for her forever home. Rue is a true "Velcro dog" who fiercely loves her people and wants to be by their side. She is gentle, kind, and has a lot of energy as a heeler, making her a fun companion for active individuals or families.

Ideal Home

Rue has met young children nicely and does well with them. She has also walked nicely with other dogs on leash, but as is common with heelers, she can be particular about her playmates. Meet and greets are absolutely necessary before adoption to ensure a good match.

Ongoing Health

Rue is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Rue knows basic commands such as "sit" and "come." She is also house-trained and enjoys playing fetch. She walks well on a leash.
