Meet Harvey!

Harvey is a charming young puppy with an unknown but suspected German Shepherd/Doberman mix. He's already showing all the signs of growing into an exceptional companion. Harvey is currently thriving in a foster home where he's getting a wonderful head start on learning to be the best boy he can be. He's not only sweet and affectionate but also incredibly smart. Harvey already knows commands like "sit," "down," and "leave it," and he's enthusiastically working on mastering even more. His foster family reports that he walks beautifully on a leash and truly relishes training sessions.

Harvey's favorite way to spend his time is earning treats! He is highly food-motivated and genuinely enjoys learning new things. His eager-to-please personality makes training a fun, rewarding, and surprisingly easy experience. Whether you're interested in basic manners, advanced obedience, trick training, or even future dog sports, Harvey is the type of puppy who will be thrilled to learn alongside you.

Of course, Harvey isn't all about work! He's a puppy through and through and absolutely loves his toys. He's already fantastic at entertaining himself, whether he's tossing a toy around, happily chewing on a favorite plushie, or proudly carrying one around the house. And when playtime is over, Harvey transforms into a world-class cuddle bug. He adores snuggling with his people and is happiest when curled up in a lap, soaking up affection. Despite his intelligence and drive, he's also a soft, loving puppy who simply wants to be close to the people he loves.

Harvey currently lives in a home environment and is doing wonderfully. He has been exposed to both dogs and cats in his foster home. While he's generally kept separate from the resident pets due to some strong personalities in the household, he has observed and interacted with them, and has also enjoyed playtime with other dogs outside of the home.

As if his wonderful personality wasn't enough, Harvey is absolutely adorable! He boasts a sleek black coat, charming tan eyebrows that give him endless expressions, cute tan socks, and a handsome face that turns heads wherever he goes. He's a perfect blend of elegance and puppy sweetness.

Ongoing Health

Harvey has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He is up-to-date on his 12-month heartworm preventative injectable and has had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Harvey is a smart and eager learner who excels with positive reinforcement. He's already mastered "sit," "down," and "leave it," walks well on a leash, and loves training sessions. He benefits from consistent training, socialization, and a structured environment to help him continue to develop important life skills like potty training and good manners.

• Adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting, microchip with free lifetime registration, a Martingale collar, health certificate, and the cost of transport.
• Prior to adoption finalization, you will meet your pet through a video call.

Transporation

Harvey is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
