Grover

Grover is a spirited Australian Shepherd/Jack Russell mix with a boundless supply of energy and intelligence. He's a young pup, around 6 months old, and already demonstrates a remarkable knack for outsmarting his humans while keeping up with their every move. Grover is sure to stay on the smaller side, about Jack Russell size.

Ideal Home

Grover would thrive with an active individual or family who loves to go on adventures. His high intelligence means he needs mental stimulation and physical activity to be his happiest self.

Ongoing Health

Grover had a challenging start, breaking both of his back legs at just 4 months old. Thanks to the generosity of donors and skilled veterinary care from an orthopedic surgeon, both of his legs have been successfully repaired. He's a remarkably tenacious pup who seems unfazed by his past injuries. He has a follow-up appointment in a few weeks, after which he'll be cleared for adoption.

Training & Support

Grover is still learning the ropes and is not yet house-trained. His adventurous spirit meant he had to be closely supervised during his recovery to prevent him from overexerting himself. With consistent training and a patient approach, he's sure to blossom.
