Lazarus "Lazzie"

Meet Lazarus, but you can call him Lazzie! This handsome 3-4 year old, 50 lb. black Lab mix is a true gem. Lazzie is a volunteer favorite, known for his calm, gentle, and quiet demeanor. He absolutely loves lounging and cuddling on the bed with his canine companions and his people. He's already living harmoniously with a tiny chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie, and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Lazzie even enjoyed a social outing at a local bar, confidently making new friends with strangers and his dog pals by his side. He came to us through difficult circumstances, covered in mange and battling a respiratory infection, but thanks to dedicated care, he's now healthy, strong, and incredibly handsome.

Ideal Home

Lazzie would love a home where he can continue to enjoy cozy cuddles and lounging. He's proven to be great with dogs of all sizes and is likely to do well with children and cats, but this has not been tested.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie is fully vaccinated and neutered.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He's also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training if booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off if booked within 60-90 days.

Transporation

Lazzie is located in Houston, TX. Transport out of state is available to your state or a neighboring state. Pick-up locations for transported dogs may vary, including across city, county, or state lines. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport updates.
