Bambi

Meet Bambi! This sweet 1-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix is a little bundle of personality. Bambi can be a bit shy with new people and places initially, but she warms up quickly with a little patience. Her absolute favorite pastime is playing with other dogs – she could play all day long if she had a willing companion!

Ideal Home

Bambi would thrive in a home with another young, playful dog to be her best friend. Children in the home must be dog-savvy and at least 12 years old, capable of respecting her space and allowing her time to adjust. She is not suited for a home where children may not understand her need for personal space or her dislike of being picked up or overly handled.

Ongoing Health

Bambi is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

While Bambi may initially bark and growl a bit when unsure, it's more of a "puff" with no bite behind it. Once she feels safe, she settles in beautifully. She's very smart and learns quickly, needing only space, time, and patience to become the perfect family member.

• You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt.
• A veterinary check of current and past pets is required to ensure they are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, on monthly preventatives, and receive annual exams.

Transporation

Bambi is located at Canines and Kitties Rescue. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
