Helen is a 3-year-old, 69lb lovebug who truly has the best of both worlds. She's the kind of dog who will happily curl up in the coziest spot she can find (closet, crate, laundry basket...you name it) and just be your little shadow all day. But the second you grab her big soccer ball, she turns into an all-star athlete and will play fetch until she's completely worn out. Big lap dog meets playful fetch queen. Helen is a total Velcro girl. She bonds quickly and loves hard. If she had it her way, she'd spend all day leaning into you, soaking up scratches and cuddles. She greets you like you've been gone forever, every single time. She's goofy, affectionate, and full of personality... and yes, one of the squishiest blockheads around. Helen has done well with other dogs when given a little time to warm up and thoughtful introductions. She's the type who just prefers to ease into new friendships rather than rushing right in. The same goes for meeting new people, she might be a little unsure for a minute, but with a treat or two (and maybe a toy toss), she quickly realizes you're a friend.
