Wayne

Wayne has come such a long way since joining us! He was rescued from a hoarding situation and was initially very shy and shut down. It took time, but he's now blossoming and loves his human caretakers. He's a social butterfly with other dogs and has even been a wonderful "den mother" to puppies. His past experience with cats suggests he'd likely do well in a home with them too. While he hasn't been tested with children, we believe he'd do well with older kids who can be respectful of his boundaries. This little guy weighs around 18-20lbs and is about 2 years old. He has a striking Oreo cookie coat and a cute, squatty build. Wayne is still a bit shy with new people, but with patience and understanding, he truly shines. He's ready for the next chapter of his rescue story and just needs someone to take a chance on him!

Ideal Home

Wayne would thrive in a patient home that can give him the time and space to continue building his confidence. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is likely to do well with cats. He may do well with older children who can respect his need for personal space.

Ongoing Health

Wayne is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Wayne is still working on his confidence with new people and can be shy. He will need continued patience as he learns to trust new individuals. He is not yet house-trained.
