Parmesan is a beautiful, tan Shepherd mix with a heart of absolute gold and an incredibly sweet soul. Rescued after a scary brush with a car on I-45, she is healing beautifully from a minor front leg fracture and is completely ready to leave her street-life days behind for a lifetime of love.

True to her name, Parmesan is a mellow, easygoing girl whose best asset is her overall sweetness. She can be a bit shy and introverted at first, but once she warms up, her deeply affectionate Shepherd loyalty shines through. In fact, she has the most endearing habit of gently grabbing your hand with her mouth to guide it exactly where she wants to be scratched! She is a peaceful companion who loves nothing more than laying in the grass to soak up the sun, going for car rides, and being a professional couch potato.

Ideal Home

Parmesan would do wonderfully in a calm environment where she can finish healing and soak up all the affection she deserves. She would do well as an honored only pet or with a gentle dog friend.

Training & Support

Parmesan is mostly potty trained and is crate-tolerant when you leave the house. She has excellent leash manners and is a quiet girl who rarely ever barks.
