Dean

Dean is a 1-year-old Pointer/Hound mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! He's a playful pup who is always ready for an adventure. Dean is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with his favorite people. You can often find him napping on the couch or seeking out belly rubs.

Ideal Home

Dean would do best in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, continued training, structure, and affection. He absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship. His enthusiasm might be a bit overwhelming for cats.

Ongoing Health

Dean is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and has been treated for heartworm. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping.

Training & Support

Dean is still learning basic manners, including commands like "sit" and "nice." He responds well to positive reinforcement, treats, and consistency. He's smart and eager to please, making him a joy to train.

Transportation

Dean is located in the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. We are a foster-based rescue and conduct home visits as part of the adoption process. We are unable to adopt to families outside of this area.
