Robbie

Meet sweet and curious Robbie, an affectionate 8-month-old mixed-breed pup who weighs 20 pounds. She joined the Ruff Start STX foster pack in November 2025 after being found living on the streets of St. Croix.

Robbie loves chew toys, playing with other dogs, and nighttime snuggles. She is affectionate on her terms and will need patient adopters who let her warm up at her own pace.

Ideal Home

Robbie needs an understanding home willing to give her space while she builds trust. She is good with dogs of all ages and sizes, but has not been tested with cats. She is not food aggressive or toy aggressive.

Ongoing Health

Robbie arrived with a bad case of mange and was very unhealthy, but she is now doing well. She may need medication for veterinary visits because she can be fearful at the veterinarian.

Training & Support

• Still learning to feel comfortable being picked up

Transportation

Robbie may be adopted on St. Croix or stateside. The rescue flies its pups to their adopters as part of the adoption fee.
