Elmo

Elmo is a sweet, 5-month-old Great Pyrenees who is as affectionate and playful as he is independent. He spent his early months on a farm, so he's very comfortable around other animals and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking for a farm dog, or simply a fluffy new friend to join their family.

Ideal Home

Elmo would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family. His farm background means he's comfortable with other animals and would be a great fit for a family environment.

Ongoing Health

Elmo is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been dewormed. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Elmo is about 98% potty trained, but may still have occasional accidents as he was accustomed to spending most of his time outdoors. Continued positive reinforcement will help him adjust to indoor living.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $300 plus transport. This fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, and a health exam completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure. All dogs will be current on flea and heartworm prevention.
• Please be aware that adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis. We prioritize finding the best possible home for each animal.

Transportation

Elmo is currently being fostered in Texas. He can be transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. Video calls are used for adoption interviews and meet-and-greets.
