Rue

Hiya Friends! My name is Rue and I'm a beautiful black/tan Shepherd mix. I was found in a terrible situation, but thanks to the rescue, I'm now healthy and thriving, learning what a loving home is all about. I'm a smart and resilient gal who is house and crate trained, with decent manners and a heart full of love to give. I enjoy exploring the yard, following my favorite humans, and making my way into your heart.

Ideal Home

I would love a home with older children (10+) and a large male dog companion to romp around with. I am not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives, and I have been spayed.

Training & Support

I am a quick learner and am eager to please! I would benefit from further obedience training to help me be the bestest girl around.

• All dogs are fostered in Tennessee unless otherwise noted.
• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.
• Due to the high volume of inquiries, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications.
• Please be respectful of our dedicated volunteers' time.

Transporation

I am currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. I am available for transport to the east coast, and a transport fee will apply.
