Moose

Moose is a 3-year-old Terrier mix with a stunning red merle coat that makes him look like a work of art! This handsome 62lb boy came to us as a stray and is now eagerly waiting for his truly forever home. Moose deserves all the love and affection in the world. He enjoys meeting new people and, despite his size, sometimes believes he's a lap dog! He's great with older children (10+) and is a good boy on a leash. Moose generally prefers to be an independent dog but doesn't mind other dogs. If you have a canine companion at home, a proper introduction is always recommended.

Ideal Home

Moose is great with older kids and would do well in a home that can appreciate his independent spirit. No fenced yard is required.

Moose is up to date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

Moose is eager to please and is good on a leash. He may sometimes forget his size and think he's a lap dog, so gentle guidance will help him learn how to properly interact in his new home.

Transporation

Moose is currently at HSSM. Transportation is available to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. Due to import regulations, we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
