Rosie is a 7-year-old, 112 lb sweetheart who was rescued from a rural area in Texas. She found herself in the care of a kind couple who opened their home to over 40 homeless animals when there were no local shelters. Sadly, after the husband passed away and the wife fell ill, SNARR NE was asked to help find loving homes for these deserving dogs. Rosie is a drama-free, sensitive girl who is a little timid at first but warms up quickly with gentle attention. She doesn't often need correction, but if she does, she'll need a few days to recover from her hurt feelings. She thrives on snuggles and attention and would love a home where she can be your devoted companion. Rosie is crate-trained and has a calm, gentle demeanor. She enjoys lounging around and would be happy with a low-energy lifestyle right by your side.
Ideal Home
Rosie would do best in a home with children 10 years or older. She gets along with most dogs but can be intimidated by high-energy or assertive dogs, so a calmer canine companion would be ideal. She had limited/supervised exposure to cats and did well. A fully fenced-in yard is preferred as Rosie is still a bit uncertain about leash walking.
Ongoing Health
Rosie has flea allergies and is currently being treated. She's on the mend and well on her way to a full, beautiful coat.
Training & Support
Rosie is crate-trained and generally low-energy. She responds best to gentle guidance and reassurance.
