BlueJay

BlueJay is a delightful 13-year-old, 8lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix with a spunky yet sweet personality. She was sadly surrendered to a shelter when her beloved owner passed away and has since been lovingly renamed BlueJay. While she can be a bit sassy when her personal space is invaded, especially during naptime, she generally enjoys company. BlueJay is a charming companion who loves car rides and being with her person.

Ideal Home

BlueJay would do best as the sole pet in the home or with a calm, quiet, and submissive canine companion. She needs a home where her owners are not gone for extended periods during the day.

Ongoing Health

BlueJay has had a full dental procedure. While it's unclear if she is spayed, her vet has determined that exploratory surgery at her age would be too risky. She is also sight impaired, though she can likely see shadows and navigates familiar environments well. BlueJay requires professional grooming every 6 weeks, as she does not tolerate grooming from her owners.
