Nala Mae is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's a true gem, a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion who will settle into family life with ease. Nala has an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. She enjoys playtime with other dogs, being around 20-30 pounds, showing a playful spirit while also being content to relax once playtime is over. Her foster notes she is respectful and reads social cues well, making her a good friend to pups of all sizes. On walks, she's a dream – completely non-reactive with excellent leash manners.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level, where she can enjoy daily walks and quality time with her people. While she'd likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, it's not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Nala is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She does exhibit some mild separation anxiety when first crated or left alone, often barking or crying for a few minutes before settling. Her foster expects this to improve with a consistent routine.
Training & Support
Nala is house-trained and crate-trained. She is a very smart girl who knows several commands and responds well to verbal cues, always eager to please. She's an easy dog to live with, with no reported barking issues.
