Fiji

Fiji is a delightful 8-month-old (as of 2/1/26) female Pittie/Lab mix who is eager to find her forever family. She came to us as an owner surrender when a kind individual needed help caring for many dogs he had rescued from the streets. Thankfully, we had wonderful foster homes step up, and Fiji is now thriving in one, waiting for her chance to shine in a loving home.

Fiji is a bundle of joy and is friendly with everyone she meets! She lives with other dogs and cats in her foster home and gets along wonderfully with them. She's also great with visiting children, displaying a loving and playful nature. Her foster mom describes her as "so loving and just wants to be near her people." While she's still a pup with plenty of energy for playing, she also loves to snuggle up on the couch and relax with her family.

Ideal Home

Fiji would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people. While she enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a canine sibling, it's not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Fiji is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. We anticipate she will grow to be a medium-sized dog. Her mom is around 40 pounds, but the father's size is unknown.

Training & Support

Fiji is fully potty and crate trained and willingly uses her crate when her foster family is away. As with all puppies under one year old, attending puppy obedience classes is highly encouraged to help her continue to learn and grow with her new family.

Transporation

Fiji is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible for transport to an adopter once arrangements are made.
