He's a dog with a strong personality, who can be dominant but seeks to avoid conflict. Rex is a bit confused and grieving the family who left him behind, and he's looking for an experienced adopter who understands his need for kindness and trust. He will lean in for pets quietly and responds well to gentle affection. However, he will let you know if he feels uncomfortable with a growl or warning.
