Lucy

Lucy is a sweet and sensitive dog who arrived after some changes in her family. She was quite unsure and overwhelmed by the shelter, but after some time and anxiety medication, we are seeing her true self shine through! Lucy is playful and affectionate and gets the zoomies when her favorite staff come to play with her. She is about 3 years old and has been in good health. Lucy enjoys walks and does well on leash, loving to sniff and roll in the grass. While we haven't seen her be reactive on walks, we tend to avoid busy times in the park. Lucy has seen a few dogs at the fence in passing and gets a bit snarky, but she's been through a lot, so we will reassess her interactions with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Lucy would do best in a dog-savvy home that can help her gain some more confidence and settle into a new environment. She has not been assessed with cats at this time.

Ongoing Health

Lucy has been in good health.

Training & Support

Lucy has been doing well on leash during walks. She has shown some snarkiness towards dogs at the fence, and this will be reassessed.
