Lily - Forever Foster wanted "Deaf"

Lily is an 8-year-old, 79-pound bundle of love looking for her final stop. She's a sweet, senior girl who thrives on close companionship and will shower you with affection once she feels safe. Lily is deaf, but she communicates her happiness with the most heartwarming smile. She was adopted five years ago and adored her person, but after his passing, she returned to rescue. She's been through a lot, but her resilience shines through, and she forms incredibly deep bonds with those who earn her trust. Lily loves to cuddle and be pressed close to her person, always wanting to be near. She is house-trained and not destructive.

Ideal Home

Lily needs to be the only pet in the home. A quieter environment would be ideal, perhaps with someone who works from home, is retired, or can provide consistent companionship. She thrives when she feels secure and loved.

Ongoing Health

Lily is deaf. As part of our Forever Foster Program, all approved medical expenses beyond routine wellness care for the rest of Lily's life will be covered by the rescue.

Training & Support

Lily experiences separation anxiety when she's apart from her person, which can manifest as barking. However, an experienced trainer has assessed that these are "fixable issues" with commitment, consistency, structure, and support. The rescue will cover the cost of direct trainer support for Lily's adopter to help manage her anxiety and build her confidence.
