Meet Pesto! He's a sweet, goofy puppy who believes everyone he meets is a new best friend and will happily shower you with kisses, cuddles, and enthusiastic tail wags. His favorite place to be is right next to his people, soaking up attention and giving love in return. Like many young dogs, Pesto is still learning about the world around him. New places, loud noises, and unfamiliar dogs can feel a little overwhelming, but his confidence grows with every positive experience. Once he knows he's safe, his playful personality shines. He loves bones, enjoys playing tug, and seems to have a special fondness for orange toys! Pesto is still working on his leash skills and can be hesitant about unfamiliar places, preferring to stay close to people he trusts rather than venture too far. Despite his worries, he's curious and eager to learn. With patience, encouragement, and consistency, we know this sweet boy will continue blossoming into a confident companion. Ideal Home
Pesto would do best with respectful children who understand that he's still gaining confidence and can be a bouncy, excitable puppy. He can be nervous around unfamiliar dogs, especially if they're barking. Slow introductions and positive experiences will help build his confidence.
Ongoing Health
Pesto's adoption fee includes his spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet. He also receives 1 month of flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Pesto knows "sit" and is eager to keep learning, especially when treats are involved! He is still learning his housebreaking routine and adjusting to life in a new environment. He can also be jumpy and mouthy in a typical happy puppy way, so he'll benefit from continued positive training as he grows. He can be hesitant about unfamiliar places, preferring to stay close to people he trusts rather than venture too far. Pesto is provided with 1 month of access to Petcademy for training and behavior support.
