Smokey is a sweet, gentle boy around four years old. He was rescued from the streets of Harris County, Texas, and then from a high-kill shelter with only minutes to spare. Despite his past hardships, Smokey has a loving spirit and so much affection to give. He is polite, calm, and incredibly well-behaved indoors, with no accidents or complaints. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs! Smokey's journey shows that even after a dark past, a bright future is possible, and he's now looking for a forever family to complete his happy ending.
