Sol

Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Labrador mix with a happy, energetic personality. She's social with other dogs and people, approaching strangers with curiosity and confidence. Sol loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite toys. She also enjoys affection and cuddles. While she may be a little cautious in new situations, she's never aggressive and doesn't bite. She's a joyful girl ready to grow and learn with a loving, active forever family.

Ideal Home

Sol would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued animals. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer is a must. She requires high tolerance and patience for a rescued puppy. Sol is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Sol has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI vaccines, a rabies vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, and has been dewormed. She is microchipped, and her 4DX test and heartworm test came back negative. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She also has a health certificate and a vaccine booklet.

Training & Support

Sol is not house-trained and will require patience and consistency for potty training. She needs a family willing to invest time in her training and rehabilitation. She needs a safe and loving environment with a clear routine and boundaries to help her feel secure and build trust.

Transportation

Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Transportation to your door is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. This fee covers the cost of transportation from Mexico to your home. Our transportation process includes scheduled trips, a contracted transport company, comprehensive legal and health documents, and real-time updates during the journey. The transport team will also conduct a final home review upon delivery to ensure a smooth transition.
