Peter Pan

Peter Pan is a handsome white and brown dapple boy who arrived with his best friend, Wendy. They are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. Peter Pan has completed his vetting and is ready for a foster home or a forever home alongside Wendy. He has experienced one episode of IVDD in the past, which he successfully recovered from with strict crate rest. To help keep him healthy, he should not use stairs or jump on or off furniture. Peter Pan sleeps quietly in his crate but much prefers curling up in the big bed. He loves toys, especially squeakers and rope toys, and enjoys spending time with his people. He does well with kids, dogs, and cats when properly introduced.

Ideal Home

Peter Pan needs a secure home with careful door management, as he can be a runner if a door is left open. He should not use stairs or jump on or off furniture.

Ongoing Health

Peter Pan has a history of IVDD and recovered with strict crate rest. He should not use stairs or jump on or off furniture to help keep him healthy. Heartworm prevention is given on the 8th of each month.

Training & Support

Peter Pan is leash and crate trained. He should be fed separately from other dogs, as he has no problem helping himself to their food.
