Sophie is a charming 1-year-old female Dachshund who has been an absolute sweetheart during her time in foster care. She's a bit shy initially but is quickly blossoming and settling into her temporary home. Sophie has shown a wonderful ability to get along with dogs of all sizes, and she's also been great with the energetic children in her foster home. She's a full-grown girl, weighing 38 lbs, offering that perfect medium size that many are looking for.

Ideal Home

Sophie would thrive in a home that can offer her patience as she continues to gain confidence. She has shown she's good with kids and dogs. Her compatibility with cats is unknown at this time.

Ongoing Health

Sophie is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. Her adoption includes a Certified Vet Inspection and prior vetting paperwork.

Training & Support

Sophie kennels well. As she is still a bit shy, continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance will help her continue to blossom.
