Roxy

Roxy is a gorgeous, approximately 2-year-old girl weighing in at 48 lbs. With her long legs, she's been affectionately nicknamed a gazelle, and she's just as adorable as one! Roxy was found in January 2026 in a cemetery, where she had been fending for herself. Thankfully, she's now safe and sound, and ready to find her forever family.

Ideal Home

Roxy would thrive in a medium-active home with other dogs, big or small, where she can play and burn off energy. She needs someone who can provide regular playtime, exercise, and training.

Ongoing Health

Roxy is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming. She tested heartworm positive but has completed a 30-day course of antibiotics and will need to remain on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months, followed by a retest. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Roxy is crate trained but prefers not to be crated when left alone, as she is quiet and settles well indoors. She is a bit of an escape artist and loves to explore, especially the woods. While she is a bit of a mischievous explorer, she always comes back immediately when called.

Roxy is currently located in South Texas.
