Lea

Lea is an approximately 10-month-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds. She's a sweet, loving girl who acts just like any other dog. Lea gets along great with other dogs and enjoys companionship and play. She came to us as a younger pup, and it was soon discovered that she had a medical condition. Our veterinary team found that she had a distended bladder indicating urine retention, and further testing revealed that Lea was born with a pituitary gland issue. This condition keeps her from reabsorbing water properly, meaning she will always drink and urinate more than a typical dog. Otherwise, she is healthy and normal.
