Skylar

Skylar is a gorgeous, 3-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix with striking blue eyes! He had a tough start on the streets and sustained an injury that required TPLO surgery on his leg last year. Thankfully, he has made a wonderful recovery and is ready to find his forever home.

Skylar absolutely loves to run and play and has a high energy level. He enjoys playing with other dogs and getting his exercise. While he sometimes tries to be in charge, he responds well to gentle correction. He can be a little nervous with quick movements and needs a moment to adjust to new people and situations. With a little patience and some tasty treats, Skylar will warm up quickly and start seeking out pets. Once he's comfortable, he's a big fan of cuddles, kisses, and will even gently paw at you if you stop petting him before he's ready! He has completed training in basic obedience commands and socialization.

Ideal Home

Skylar would love a home where he can have plenty of opportunities to run and play.

Skylar had TPLO surgery on his leg last year and has fully recovered.

Training & Support

Skylar has completed basic obedience and socialization training. He responds well to correction, but may need a little time to adjust to new people and situations due to nervousness around quick movements.
