Camila and Regina are a bonded pair of sweet, affectionate, and social Shih Tzu girls who are looking for their forever home together. Camila is one year old and weighs approximately 8.6 lbs, with a white coat and dark brown markings. Regina is 10 months old and weighs about 8.2 lbs, with a white coat and light brown markings. They love greeting people with excitement, enjoy cuddles, and thrive on attention. Both girls walk well on a leash, are comfortable in crates, and travel calmly in cars. They get along well with other dogs, men, and women, and enjoy meeting new people. Camila and Regina were rescued together in Saltillo, Mexico, after being found wandering without an owner. They have since received a full veterinary evaluation and are now waiting for a loving family to continue their journey with.
Ideal Home
Camila and Regina would do best in an active family with a fenced backyard, who enjoys outdoor activities. They need a family with a genuine intention to rescue a dog and an understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued animals. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer. They require high tolerance and patience as they are not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Camila and Regina have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. They have received a 4DX test, heartworm test, and are on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. They have also received a health certificate and come with a vaccination booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past experiences.
Training & Support
Camila and Regina are not house-trained. They will need patience and consistency to learn house manners. Due to their rescue background, they may have fears or anxieties and will need time to adapt to their new environment. Establishing a routine and clear boundaries will help them feel secure.

Transporation
Camila and Regina are currently fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. They are available for transport to the East Coast of the US on scheduled trips. A transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Updates on their journey will be provided through a private Facebook Messenger group.
