Nova

Nova is a sweet and affectionate adult female Hound mix who is patiently waiting for her second chance at a loving home. She came to the shelter with her sister when their owner could no longer care for them. While her sister has found her forever family, Nova is still hoping to find hers.

Nova can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, preferring to take things at her own pace. However, once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into a delightful companion who can easily entertain herself. While fetch isn't her favorite game, she enjoys chasing toys and then exploring on her own. She has excellent leash manners and loves going for long walks. Nova has lived with children and other dogs, and she is social with both cats and dogs, though she can be selective with other canines. At a wonderful age, Nova has outgrown puppy antics and has plenty of energy and love to share with the right family.
