One look at those floppy little ears, that tiny compact body, and those sweet soulful eyes and you're done for! Ginger Peaches has this absolutely precious mix of tiny little baby and big dog energy trapped in a small body that is impossible not to love. She's a perfect medium-small size, making her easy to bring along on adventures, easy to snuggle, and easy to spoil rotten. She's fully convinced she belongs directly beside her person at all times, and honestly, she does! Ginger is a total people dog through and through, the type that loves hard, bonds deeply, follows you everywhere, and acts like your return home from Target was the greatest moment of her entire life. Her foster absolutely adores how excited she gets when they come home, because Ginger genuinely knows how to make her people feel special.
Ginger Peaches is believed to be a pit bull/chihuahua mix, approximately 11 months old and currently weighing 31 lbs. With rescue, it's always a mystery, but whatever combination created this tiny girl absolutely nailed it. She has features that make you question everything while still being undeniably cute!
Ideal Home
Ginger is the type of dog that will thrive most with someone excited about having a true companion always by their side. She has been around kids ages 12 and 16 and has done great with them, being affectionate, sweet, and comfortable. While we haven't seen her around younger children, based on her personality, we think she has potential to do well with them too. She prefers not being away from her humans for long periods as she bonds deeply. While she loves to zoom and would enjoy a backyard, she is also adaptable and could thrive in an apartment setting with proper exercise, socialization, and playtime.
Ongoing Health
No specific health concerns were mentioned in the listing.
Training & Support
Ginger is crate trained and potty trained. She already knows commands like "sit" and "shake," and her "shake" is ridiculously cute as she uses both paws to impress you! She can be a bit shy and slow to warm up socially with new dogs, preferring to observe at first. She tends to gravitate towards calmer dogs and is mindful and respectful when interacting with other dogs.
