Reed

Reed is a gorgeous, sweet, and playful 2-year-old, 45 lb mixed breed boy. He's made amazing progress in building his confidence and social skills. Once he meets another dog, he absolutely adores them and loves to give kisses! Reed enjoys romping in the yard and snuggling with his doggie friends. He's also been found to be fine with cats. While he can be initially reserved with strangers, it doesn't take him long at all to warm up and offer them kisses. He has a special fondness for older children in his foster home and can often be found snuggling with them in a chair or on a bed. Reed is playful but not overly hyper. He walks nicely on a leash, knows "sit," and will offer you his paw. He takes treats gently and has had no accidents in the house; he is also crate trained. Reed does bark to alert you to things. He forms strong bonds with his family and is a loyal companion who just wants to be loved.

Ideal Home

Reed would love a home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy playtime and snuggles. He does well with other dogs and cats and enjoys the company of older children.

Reed is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Reed is crate trained, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. He knows "sit" and "paw," and takes treats gently. He does bark to alert you.
