Lavana

Lavana is a beautiful 5-year-old, 55-pound female mix with a striking chestnut red brindle and black coat. She has soulful eyes and a joyful spirit, greeting life with a wagging tail. Lavana is discovering the simple joys of being a dog, playing with toys and enjoying treats. She's gaining confidence daily and is ready to find her forever family. Lavana is one of the "Freed Thirteen," and her past was spent as a breeding dog. While we don't know the exact number of litters she had, it's clear she's had more than one. Now, it's her turn to be cherished and loved.

Ideal Home

Lavana would do best in a home with another friendly male dog to help her continue to blossom and thrive, as she has spent her life surrounded by other animals.

Ongoing Health

We are currently unsure if Lavana will need dental work or if her teeth are simply worn from years of use. Once she settles into a foster or adoptive home, she will be fully evaluated, and any necessary care will be provided.

Training & Support

Lavana is learning to be a pet and is experiencing many things for the first time. She needs a patient heart and a family willing to show her that her best days are still ahead.
