Meet Shyla! ♥️

Shyla is ready for her new fur-ever home! 🏡 We estimate she is approximately 5 years old. Shyla is incredibly shy and is fearful of the world, but she has slowly adjusted to the shelter and is learning how to be a dog. She is gentle, enjoys pets, and is slowly showing affection. We have yet to see her full personality, but she is learning to wag her tail and letting us take her outside.

Ideal Home

Shyla would thrive in a quieter home environment with a consistent person who is home often. She would benefit from a fenced-in yard, but consistent leash walks are also recommended due to her being a flight risk. Another dog in the home will most likely help her adjust to home life, and a meet and greet will be required if you have another dog.

Ongoing Health

Shyla has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Shyla is not house-trained and would benefit from further obedience training, socialization, and confidence-building. She is under-socialized and can be spooked by loud noises, strangers, new environments, and fast movements.
