For over two years, this sweet girl has watched other dogs come and go... while she's been left behind. Baby Gurl is a 5-year-old heeler/border collie mix who deserves so much more than life in a shelter kennel. And yet, despite everything, she hasn't lost her light. She is loyal, intelligent, and full of personality. She's the kind of dog who forms a deep, unbreakable bond with her person, the kind who just wants somewhere to finally belong. We've gone above and beyond to provide her the best care, and we've never given up because we see how remarkable she really is. She's ready. She's been ready. She just needs someone to say yes.

Ideal Home

Like many herding breeds, Baby Gurl will thrive in a home that offers structure, guidance, and consistency. She's looking for someone who understands her instincts and will give her the clarity she's been missing. We're unsure how she does with kids or cats, and she does well with dogs where she can be slowly introduced, so a home that can set her up for success is important.

Baby Gurl is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and recently had a dental.
