Georgia

Georgia is a fully vetted, positive, loving, and loyal companion who is great with older kids, cats, and we believe other dogs. She's a glutton for attention and will nudge your hand for pets, especially belly scratches! One of her favorite things is to snuggle up in your lap and look longingly into your soul with her big brown eyes. She has a beautiful non-shedding coat that is great with brushing. It's hard to be in a bad mood with Georgia around!

Georgia is potty trained and loves toys, especially challenging ones. She has recently learned to fetch and is always excited for a nap with her people as she is for a play session. She is very intelligent and learns quickly, motivated more by praise than treats. She hasn't needed to be crated as she's non-destructive and a great house guest. Georgia is most at peace outside in a secure yard where she can watch birds and squirrels.

Ideal Home

Georgia would thrive in a home with a backyard or with a family that can provide consistent activity to help her burn off her young dog energy. A securely fenced yard is a MUST, as Georgia is a runner and will bolt if given the opportunity.

Training & Support

Georgia has improved greatly on gently jumping on her adults looking for hugs but will need additional consistency. She also alerts indoors at squirrels and passersby. She has responded positively to acknowledging what she's barking at and distracting her with a toy or fun training session, but will need further consistency.
