Leo AND Reggie NEED FOSTERS

Leo and Reggie are two friendly little guys who found themselves in need of a foster home. They've been living on a farm with a kind man who takes in strays, and we're happy to give them a temporary place to land while we find them their forever families. Both Leo and Reggie are good with people, other dogs, cats, and even farm animals like cows, sheep, goats, and chickens! They are looking for foster homes, with the possibility of foster-to-adopt. Second Chance will provide all necessary food and supplies, and will cover any pre-approved medical costs. They are scheduled for vetting the week of the 22nd, at which point we'll have more accurate weights and information. They do tend to mark, so neutering should help with that.

Ideal Home

Leo would do best in a home where he can have his own space, as he can be a bit dominant when playing with other dogs. He's also vocal and enjoys barking, so he'd be happier in a house rather than an apartment. Reggie, on the other hand, is more submissive and would benefit from having a canine companion to look to for guidance.

Ongoing Health

Leo and Reggie will be receiving their vetting, including neutering, the week of the 22nd. We will have more specific health information and weights once that is complete.

Training & Support

Leo can be a bit dominant during playtime and may put other dogs in their place if they don't stop when he's done. He is also vocal and barks. Reggie is timid at first but warms up quickly. He would do best with a dog companion.

Leo and Reggie are currently located many miles west of the Twin Cities in a large, very remote rural area. We can discuss transportation options once your application has been reviewed.
