If you've ever wished your favorite stuffed animal could magically come to life, then Ernie is the dog for you! This incredibly handsome chocolate Lab/Staffy mix is a perfect blend of a big, strong hunk of a dog and the sweetest, squishiest love bug. He sports a happy pittie smile, soulful amber eyes, adorable forehead wrinkles, and a personality that will keep you smiling every day. Ernie is the definition of a good boy – he's fully potty and crate trained, walks wonderfully on leash, knows "sit," and has fantastic house manners. He's been living harmoniously with two other large dogs in his foster home, proving to be an amazing companion.
Ideal Home
Ernie would thrive in a home that can offer him lots of love and inclusion. He's wonderful with children and other large dogs, but he's made it clear that cats are not his cup of tea and would prefer a cat-free environment.
Ongoing Health
Ernie is currently in good health. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, preventative care, and microchipping.
Training & Support
Ernie is a well-mannered boy who is already potty and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to play, especially chase, and has a great "off switch" for cozy cuddle time. He's a smart cookie who enjoys attention and is eager to please.
