Meet Joey Golden, a sweet and gentle soul with a true love for life! This handsome boy is believed to be a Golden Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated birthday of June 1, 2025, and currently weighs 30 lbs. Joey is not expected to grow any larger, boasting a tall and slender frame that makes him the perfect size for cuddles. He's a happy, playful, and incredibly snuggly companion with a wonderful, calm personality. Joey is the best of both worlds, offering a perfect blend of silliness and affection. He enjoys being outdoors, rides well in the car, and loves going on mini adventures. He's also a smart pup who is eager to please, already doing great with potty training and crate training!
Ideal Home
Joey would love a home with a fully fenced backyard where he can romp and relax in the sun. He would also do very well as the only pet in the home, but he is also dog-friendly and has shown a gentle play style, respecting other dogs' space and resources. He adores kids and would be a wonderful companion for them to grow up with.
Ongoing Health
Joey is up-to-date on all his vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Joey is house-trained and crate-trained. Consistency, structure, and treats will be key to his continued success. His eagerness to please and intelligence mean he'll pick up new things quickly with guidance and positive reinforcement.

Transporation
Joey is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in various states including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
