Brady's story could have ended very differently. He was found abandoned on the side of a country road in Guadalupe County, where two compassionate women rescued him and brought him to Good Catch. When he arrived, he needed good food, veterinary care, and, most of all, kindness. Today, just a month later, Brady has blossomed into a healthy, happy, fully vetted young dog who's ready to find the family he deserves. We believe Brady is a Border Collie mix, though we're waiting on his Wisdom Panel DNA results. At just 35 pounds and 11 months old, he's the perfect medium size and isn't expected to grow much beyond 40 pounds. Brady is one of those dogs who seems to fit in wherever he goes. He's gentle, easygoing, and wonderfully balanced. Whether he's spending time with senior dogs, playful puppies, or dogs his own age, he reads the room and adjusts beautifully. He's smart, eager to learn, and picked up crate training on his very first day. He's fully housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and has excellent manners around the house. His foster reports that he has never destroyed anything, even when left out of his crate. He enjoys toys, chew bones, tasty treats, and a good play session—but he's just as happy curling up beside you for an afternoon nap.
Ideal Home
Brady would love a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs. He's done well meeting older children and continues to gain confidence with new people when they're patient and calm. We'd recommend a cat-free home, as he does bark at cats.
Ongoing Health
Brady is neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella), current on flea and tick prevention with Bravecto, and protected with a 12-month ProHeart injection for heartworm prevention. He will also receive a health certificate from our veterinarian before transport.
